Eddie L. Kemp, Sr. died of a heart attack at his home in McKinney, TX the evening of September 29, 2013. On October 7, 2013 local TV Station CW 33 re-aired a short clip of their earlier interview with Mr. Kemp, the same day as the Wake Service held at Black & Clark Funeral Home in Dallas, TX in memory of Sgt. Kemp.
